Welcome to Quinsigamond United Methodist Church

Our church is centered in Christ, dedicated to people, willing to serve, and eager to grow. Together we seek to provide Christ-centered worship, Christian education to children, youth, and adults, warm Christian fellowship, and loving service to the community. Welcome to Quinsigamond United Methodist Church, the First Swedish Methodist Church in Worcester Massachusetts. Although our heritage is Swedish, our congregation now represents a cross-section of modern day Worcester, including a growing membership of Liberian heritage. We celebrate all believers and rejoice in the blessings God has brought us through our diversity.
If you are living in the area, going to school here, just visiting, passing through, or settling down in the area and you are looking for a church that feels like family and not just a congregation, then come visit and worship with us.

In the United Methodist Church we believe that everyone has a calling to serve Christ, through the church. When we take membership vows we promise to support the church with "our prayers, our presence, our gifts and our service." At different times in our lives we do this in different ways but essentially the church needs the. 'Prayers, presence gifts and service' of all our members and active participants. What is your calling? Are you faithfully serving Christ through the church? I have seen church bulletins where, instead of listing the pastor as the 'minister' it is written, "Minister: All the Members." This is Christ's church but we have all been entrusted with its care and growth. Let us be faithful to that calling

Time of Worship 
 Children's Church available for ages 3-7 in the Fellowship Hall after the Children's time until the end of the worship service.

 Sunday Morning Choir Practice 10:00 am
 Sunday school Class for children in grades k-12 at 9:30 am Sunday Morning The ongoing youth Sunday school program that meets at 9:30 on Sunday. Their curriculum follows the same readings we use in church; this helps the youth engage the story in more meaningful ways.
There is also a nursery available for toddlers and infants.
 The Church Office is open between 9:15 a.m. to 12.15 p.m. on Monday -Wednesday and Friday.

 Take 290-West to exitsign will say 146 exit 12 go down under 2 over passes. Follow signs that say Rt. 146 South/ Millbury /Rhode Island. Follow sign for McKeon Road for ramp; take ramp exit to top of ramp. At top of ramp there will be a sign that says Quinsigamond Village, turn right heading straight ahead you will see a set of train tracks, go over the train tracks, and come to a set of lights. At this set of lights is Blackstone River Street/Road. At this set of lights take a left on to Blackstone River Street/Road. There will be a set of lights. At this set of lights take a right on to Stebbins Street. There is a big school at this corner. The church is located behind the school. #9 Stebbins Street, Worcester, Mass.
Take 290 - north to exitsign 11 Go down under 2 over passes. go to Cambridge Street and take a right go down one street to pizza shop take right on to McKeon Road, follow to the end till you come to a set of lights, this will be Blackstone River Road. Take a right onto Blackstone River Road, and at the next set of lights will be Stebbins Street. Take a right onto Stebbins Street. From: Rt. 20 Take Blackstone River Road all the way down to Stebbins Street,
Coming from Rt. 146 North take Quinsigamond Village Exit, on to Blackstone River Road, take a right onto Blackstone River road, or take the Vernon Street exit, and take a left over the bridge, come down to the bottom, and take a left on to Blackstone River Road, and then take your next right on to Stebbins Street for the church.

From Webster Square follow Cambridge Street to Southbridge Street, continue straight on Cambridge Street to the next right ( there is a old school building and a pizza store at this turn) turn right onto McKeon Road- follow a good distance about 1-2 miles to the end . You will come to an intersection of McKeon Road and Blackstone River Road-Street. Now take a right on to Blackstone River Road, and the next right is Stebbins Street. The church sits behind the school
